The Gum Family Tree

Welcome to the Gum Family Tree

This Gum (or Gumm) family tree starts in Devizes, Wiltshire, England, and spreads to a large number of villages within the area. Although I haven't been able to trace this particular family back further, it is thought that the
name Gum (or Gumm) came from Germany with one of the early invaders of England.

The first Gum in this tree, Roger, married Elizabeth Drew from Seend, where in that area and many generations later,
they married into the Sumner family.

With over 11,000 individuals in my family tree it has become unmanageable for a single web site.
Therefore it has been split into a number of smaller sites based on major family groups.

Kennett (North Kent)
Kennett (South Kent)
